The lineup takes care of itself.
A community for the people whose normal life is in places where the nearest hospital is hours away. Surfers. Lifeguards. Free-divers. Surf coaches. Outrigger paddlers. Charter captains. Search and rescue. Big-wave riders. Body surfers. Spearfishers. Sea kayakers. Foilers. Marine field researchers. Sailors. Fishermen. Dive masters. Coastal medics. Surf photographers. Anyone who calls the ocean home.
Internal principle: Do no harm.
Built for people whose help is hours away.
The Watch is not a club. It is a community of practice for people who already operate in environments where the wrong response to an injury costs more than it does anywhere else. The Watch organizes around competence, not status. Around mutual aid, not authority.
"The lineup takes care of itself" is the ethos. Watch members are stewards, exemplars, first responders. Not police. Not enforcers. The kind of person you would want next to you in the lineup if something went wrong.
Follower. Trained. Ambassador.
Three rungs of membership. Each one is earned, not assigned. Detail on the rungs and how to move between them will be published as the community formalizes through 2026 and 2027.
