The Instructor Wound Care Course.

Online video course, seven modules, about an hour of runtime. Built for surf school instructors and adventure-medicine teachers who need a working knowledge of marine wound care without going to medical school for it.

Curriculum: scene safety, primary survey, marine envenomations, reef and coral laceration management, head and spine injuries from board contact, drowning physiology and recognition, when to call EMS, and when to manage on-site.

The Field Guide is the textbook. The course is the video walkthrough. Together they are the Trained-rung pathway for The Watch.

— In Development

Surf Safety Technician certification.

A non-clinical credential for surf-medicine field operators. Target launch window: 2028. The Surf Safety Technician (SST) certification is structured as a multi-tier credential that recognizes operators who can deliver evidence-based field response in surf environments without crossing into clinical scope.

SST is not a CME credit. It is a credential built for the field, recognized by The Watch chapters and the adventure-medicine community Doc Surf serves. More detail as the program formalizes.
